Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

The Parkes Public School Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) provides opportunities for parents and community members to work together in a caring and supportive environment whilst participating in the life of the school.

The P&C organise and coordinate fundraising activities to obtain additional resources for the benefit of all students. The P&C offer valuable support and encouragement to the Principal, Executive and Staff by maintaining a healthy working relationship that contributes to the well being of every child.

A range of interesting topics related to the school are discussed at the meetings. Throughout the year we invite guest speakers from the school to address the meeting on specific programs or issues that affect the students. Everyone is most welcome to come along and participate with the P&C as we endeavour to make our children's education the best it can be.

Volunteer at our school

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.
