Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Our public speaking and debating team provides students with valuable opportunities to build confidence, develop strong communication skills and engage in friendly competition. Through coaching, practice and participation in local events, students learn to express ideas clearly, think critically and present their viewpoints with confidence and respect.
Creative and performing arts
Our creative and performing arts programs give students opportunities to express themselves through music, drama and visual arts. These experiences build confidence, spark imagination and nurture creativity while allowing students to showcase their talents in meaningful and enjoyable ways.
Trips and excursions
Our excursions offer students exciting opportunities to extend their learning beyond the classroom. By exploring real world environments and participating in hands on experiences, students deepen their understanding, strengthen connections to the curriculum and broaden their awareness of the world around them.
"The staff are incredible. Their hard work and dedication is shown the moment you walk into school each day. They really care so much about each and every student in the school." — a parent of Parkes Public School
