Book Week

Book Week at Parkes Public School is a much loved celebration of reading where students immerse themselves in stories, characters and creativity. Our school community comes together through book parades, themed activities and shared reading experiences that spark imagination and highlight the importance of books in every child’s learning journey.

NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC Week at Parkes Public School is a meaningful celebration of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our students engage in rich learning experiences, cultural activities and community connections that deepen understanding, strengthen respect and honour the continuing stories of the world’s oldest living cultures.
